Many thanks to Dom and Joe for doing the presentation this afternoon. I felt it went well, the idea was original, people were interested and we did'nt get too much flak! What did you all think? Did you stay for the remaining presentations? I'd like to hear about them if anyone has the time to write. Thanks, Angela

Thanx for everyone's hard work in getting our project "out there". I think we did rather well, despite the rough momments we had from the audience!
I think it was very difficult to get evryone involved in the presentation part and I hope you all think that Joe and I did our best to include everyone as much as possible. I admit i was a bit hurt by the criticisms we got from the others. Yes a title would have been good, we should have thought of that really, it was needed to frame the objective of our work, but I did feel that I had made clear what we were trying to do at the beginning. As for the implied exclusion of other people in presenting, you all know that both Joe and myself were happy for someone else to do this, I stand up fully for the fact that just because we were white and middle class ourselves, did not invalidate the presentation. But enough of the rebuffing, again thanks to you all, I think we made a great team, and our idea was sooo much more purposeful than the other projects!!!

I think it went well - I agree, some interesting comments were made and we provoked quite a reaction - ultimately though we worked well together and had fun doing what we did!
It's just a shame that we won't necessarily be working together again - If there's any way that I can help anyone over the next year - let me know :)
- It might be nice to maintain this blog as an independent area for us to show each other our work and make comments?
